Recently, I posted a poll inquiring about smartass comments. Apparently, my smartass comments are great the way they are. (Or, you’re all lying just to appease me, which is understandable, considering my clout on this blog… WHAT?!?!)
I have an aging relative who is a bit of a smartass. Yes, it’s true. Anyway, I’m not sure how appealing an aging smartass is. At least, I have my doubts. These doubts, along with a comment about one of my comments (I said, “What Dreams May Come is a good movie.” and MJ said, “Livin – Yeees it is. I was totally expecting a smartass comment, and I was deeply disappointed *sigh*”) were the catalyst for the creation of my inaguaral poll.
Well, the pollsters have spoken… or I’ve banned their voices from being heard in opposition to mine. Anyway, I still have my doubts about aging smartasses (would plural for smartass possibly by smartassi… you know, like genii?). Perhaps it’s more than the aging smartass that I have doubts about… perhaps it’s the presentation or delivery. I don’t know. All I know is that I don’t know about aging smartassi. Thoughts? Ponderings on the matter? Anyone? Speak up now or forever hold your peace.
